Delicious Soft Drinks
Sophisticated, complex, interesting..
Because we make Jeffrey's from natural ingredients, with no alcohol whatever, you can relax with the confidence that the delightful soft drink you're enjoying does not contain alcohol of any kind, at any level.
Almost every drink you can buy contains extracts - but not ours. The extracts used by other companies have generally been made using alcohol to extract the flavour compounds, and then the alcohol is mostly driven off, leaving the 'natural flavours'. This process is used to make the addition of flavours more cost-effective.
However, we simply infuse with water and heat so we get a slightly different profile than the 'normal extracts'. We prefer it that way. It seems more natural somehow.
This does make our products highly suitable for religious groups who don't drink alcohol, but it also means that everybody can feel comfortable in the knowledge that our products do not contain alcohol and happy that the flavours are naturally delicious.
How to make a lovely soft drink
The simple truth is that you can take a glass, add as much water as you like, and then add as much Jeffrey's as you like.
Because it's in 'cordial' form, the mix is up to you.
But here's a few tips:
Add ice cold water and plenty of ice, if you don't want it fizzy and you want it cold.
Make it sparkling water if you like some fizz (we do). Use a Sodastream if you like to make your own (we do).
Make it soda water from a can if you want it really very fizzy.
Use hot water if you like really nice hot drinks.
Use about 1 measure of Jeffrey's to about 5 or 6 measures of water, to suit your own taste.
You can also add a drop of Jeffrey's to tonic water to make your ordinary tonic more interesting.
What could be more refreshing than this. The delicious bite of lime with fresh mint. Favourited.
1 tbsp sugar
Juice of 3 limes
a measure of Jeffrey's Lime, Galangal & Orange
Bunch of mint
plenty of ice
Muddle the sugar and mint then add lime juice, ice and finally soda water and Jeffrey's Lime, Galangal & Orange. Stir.
